225/50/R16 Tire on 16x7 rim (instead 215/55R16) - OK?
Hi
i currently have 215/55R16 (Sidewall 119mm) tires on 16X7 rims as they came from the factory.
i want to reduce the sidewall of the tires because they are too fat for me.
before I think about upgrading the rims to 17",
can I install 225/50/R16 (Sidewall 112mm) tires on my rims?
does anyone have experience with these tires on this size rim and can you give me opinion?
I have VOLVO S60 T5 2017
the size Diameter change will be -1.6%
(I'm fine with the speedometer being a bit higher)
Thanks!
