I'm trying to find some stories that I vaguely recall. However I'm not sure if they're one story or a couple similar ones.

1. I recall that Harry was prevented from going to Hogwarts by the Dursleys. Exactly how, I'm unclear on.
2. He picked up a trade. I think either blacksmithing or woodworking, but I maybe something else?
3. This one is likely another story, but I feel like Harry and maybe Hermione work with a magical blacksmith (ex-Death Eater?). And the guy might have later begun dating Professor Babbling?

Does anyone recognize these?
