Daenys the Dreamer’s children
Daenys had three children: Aegon, Elaena, and an unnamed daughter. Aegon the Conqueror had two sisters. It’s cute how Aegon and Elaena loved each other and ruled together a la Aegon and Rhaenys.
I always liked the idea that Daenys and Aegon the Conqueror spoke through dragon dreams (the TV show made him one). Maybe at first she thought she was speaking to her son in the future and he’d become king with his two sisters as queens beside him?
Was Daenys’ other daughter married off to a petty lord because she realized that the Aegon who would conquer Westeros is actually from the next century? Given that the Doom happened 12 years after her dream, I wouldn’t blame her for thinking that her little son in 12 years or the near future would conquer Westeros with his two sisters and their dragons.
I know it’s a vague prompt but I think it could be short, bittersweet fic!
