450NK vs Vitpilen 401?
Currently perusing through options on a daily commuter + weekend twisties bike for when I head over to Okanagan (CA) for uni, and settled on two options: CFMoto's 450NK and Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 (both old stock 2024)
First proper bike, although do have a driver's license and informal scooter drives back in my home country :)
Considerations:
Vitpilen:
- up-and-down quick shifter (big plus)
- retro-ish styling (particularly fond of the round headlight)
450NK:
- mainly the engine and exhaust note
both are around the $5500 CAD mark including taxes, fees and whatnot, the bi-directional quick shifter from my personal POV looks like a massive QoL improvement especially since it'll work for lower RPMs, but am doubtful of the single cylinder and how it'll hold up for longer journeys (e.g. to Vancouver)
Will be installing a windshield + some extra storage so availability for accessories are a consideration too
