Issues with middle school coach

My son is currently on a middle school team. The season is almost half way over and half of the kids havent gotten into a game yet. The league has no play offs, and not championship, its basically instructional, but I guess the coach is only playing his starters for wins and not even subbing the bench kids in when its a laugher.

My son, is getting demoralized, and he told me some of the other kids are as well. At what point do you bring this up to the coach and or administration, and if you do, does that make you a problem parent?

For context, my son, and some of the other kids also play travel ball, as do the starters. When I mean not getting in the game I mean just that. The starters play every pitch of every inning. Except the first game which he pulled the starters at the end of a mercy rule win but the catcher refused to get out. After that he doesn't even try to pull them anymore.

Now my son is angry and hurt. I cant pull him because that makes him a bad team mate and would probably get him a bad reputation next year for hs ball, but its getting in his head he cant cola because the coach won't let him. Hes always been a good kid and ive never gotten a word from the coach hes a behavioral issue or a problem. He just plays his top 9 and everyone else watches, game in game out.

Whats the appropriate way to handle this without getting the kid a rep or me being an unreasonable parrent?

Is discussion of brewed cacao nibs ok?

I drink my cacao. The criobru stuff, id love to discuss it a little bit more, even tried to make a reditt about it which is dormant. Is this a good place to talk about brewing cacao or is it just for bars?
