Been studying for fun ... What else to prep for level 2?

I've read the Zraly text cover to cover (Windows on the World) and I'm working through the Wine Bible now. I'm interested in getting my level 2 before I take a huge wine trip this year. Should I keep reading the Wine Bible or would my time be better spent switching to Level 2 materials? I'm trying to make the exam as easy as possible for myself by the time I'm able to take it.

Tour at Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion

After emailing several wineries, I finally got an okay to tour Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion. I am beyond excited.

In addition to the base tour (which includes 2 tastings), they have offered a private masterclass or a further extension of the tour.

I need some advice on what to do. The private masterclass is very expensive but it sounds like I could do additional wines by the glass in another cellar. I'm wondering if anyone has done any of these tours and can guide me on what to do.

I'm going to Bordeaux and Champagne later this year. I've read the Zraly Windows on the World book and the Wine Bible chapters on French wine and I still feel pretty overwhelmed by Bordeaux ... Champagne is pretty damn interesting.

Looking for some books to help me wrap my mind around Bordeaux more. French wine in general would be ok too.
