Altar doll I created this week

It was inspired by Ukranian dolls but I could never match such craftsmanship. Here in the Caribbean these are associated with black magic and voodoo. I created this one black to house a spirit. Inside it has a rose quartz and a black tourmaline to promote both love and protection for my family.

My interpretation of a Xoanon of both the god and the goddess. Read the description.

Xoanon are supposed to be primitive representations of gods. Kinda like totems. They are treated in essence as the gods and are often decorated with item’s relevant to the myths or are gifted items as offerings. These totems are in essence sacred objects whose worship is equal to the worship of the god it supposed to represent. These usually had a hidden chamber for offerings. As such I plan on making a small pillar out of this eventually by incorporating clay and hollowing it out and stuffing the chambers with herbs and other offerings and sealing it again.

At the bottom are 3 hagstones.

A white flower with a red center made out seashells. A horseshoe holds the flower and a white stone that symbolizes an egg - which is a metaphor for the conclusion of the union between the God and the Goddess. The horned child.

The horseshoe - I pray on one leg sometimes I see god as a one armed, one legged, one eyed creature as such I assume a form that is more pleasing to it.

The center stick has horns like those of the god and goddess, one is larger than the other, sexual dimorphism.

The stick represents the maypole, the tree of life as well as rose with spikes in honor of the blood gods.

The maypole also represents lovemaking.

The maypole at the center has two sea shells that symbolizes the eyes of the lord, at the center a green beach glass it represents the emerald gemstone that fell from Lucifer’s head during his fall… as well as the demon star Al-ghul which I pray to whenever the moon is out.

Two local medicinal herbs two represent the pillars in which divine knowledge was inscribed before the flood.

Overall it’s supposed to represent an artistic myth and a shrine involving occult lore from Gnostic, Witchcraft, Freemasonry, Luciferian and Pagan myths.
