I'll start this by saying that Spy x Family is the best anime and best manga I've ever partaken of. And I've been through a bunch.

The only reason I am waiting on buying all of the Spy x Family anime and all of the manga and filling a large shelf with them is precisely because I want to see how the story ends.

The thing I'd most likely put down the series over is if the story ends with Loid and Yor real-marrying someone other than each other. Or, the finale ends with Loid and/or Yor lying dead on the floor in a pool of their own blood. Or, they survive, but sever all contact with each other, and the Forger family dies. I've also seen spy/assassin anime where the protagonist is so concerned about his own hide that he sacrifices or kills everybody near him to assure survival.

I sure hope it doesn't come to that -- and, honestly, there have been enough such stories that I think Endo is simply too smart and resourceful to go that route.

What about you? Is there anything that make you abandon the story forever? If so, what and why?

I'll start.

Without details to that point, let's say Loid, Yor and Anya found out about each of their family true identities. They figure to live together as a family while overtly continuing their disguises to avoid a Spymaggedon. A small, very private wedding is scheduled...

And Frankie gets drunk even before the wedding starts, signals openly in his drunken haze, so all of WISE, all of Garden, and all of SSS shows up. In uniforms. Like ALL of them. Fiona, Handler, Garden Keeper, etc. And they don't realize they needed to be disguised, so now everybody knows who everybody else is.

Looks like all the secrets just went out the window, and we have one wedding and a very large number of potential funerals.
