LiberNovo should just announce the pricing

I backed my Omni on KS the second the campaign went live and barring the delay in getting my extras, it’s been a fantastic experience. I’m 6’2 and around 300lbs so I knew it wouldn’t be perfect, but overall I don’t regret getting mine at all.

So when I saw the Maxis announcement I knew I’d be interested. But what doesn’t sit right with me is LiberNovo not announcing the pricing right away. You garnered a lot of praise with the Omni and while I haven’t watched any videos on the new models, I find it hard to believe everyone would do a 180 and suddenly hate the devices. This isn’t your first chair and you aren’t new to this space. I understand wanting to hype the releases but by waiting until so close to launch to put out the final prices, you risk driving out potential sales when you could just do it now and use that extra time to pull in feedback while giving people considering time to plan.

Tl;dr: This isn’t your first rodeo LiberNovo. Just announce the prices so people have time to make an informed decision and you have more time to absorb community sentiment.

Hi!

I’ll tl;dr:

Coworker and I wound up being the only two people who understand the backbone of our teams content management system and have been building out the global platform. This work has been going on unofficially for two years, officially since Feb 2025 and as of nine months ago we went to our bosses and they agreed to push for the roles which were made and we applied to two weeks ago.

We’re pretty unified about making the same amount. They’re in Seattle and I’m Arlington, VA/DC so while I didn’t see the salary ranges, she did. We are going to push for a midpoint in the range and want to pursue some back compensation since we’ve been doing this at our hourly rate under our old roles.

What strategies do you recommend for pursuing a higher starting salary and backpay? We’ve been documenting the emails from our leadership confirming the responsibility shift, numbers for how many people our new platform supports and plan to put some weight on the fact that we’re the only two people that know this system and designed the entire taxonomy.

Thanks so much for any and all advice 💜
