Hi, I'm a student working on my master's degree thesis about behavioral finance and most precisely "The usage of social media as a new information source for investment decisions, and to what extent does it induce behavioral biases in retail investors ?"

If you have experience in trading, investing or just financial markets in general, whether you're just starting or not, you're welcome to answer.

I’ve noticed that more and more beginner investors seem to rely on platforms like TikTok, Twitter, or Reddit itself to find investment ideas, follow trends, or even make decisions. Some people follow “finfluencers,” while others prefer to avoid social media completely and stick to traditional sources.

I’m currently working on a thesis about how using social media as a primary source of financial information might influence investor behavior (biases, decision-making, etc.), especially for beginners.

I’d really appreciate your help by answering this short survey (5-10 minutes).
