Why is this guy stupid?

Why is this guy stupid?

I was feeding both my male ghost mantis(espresso) and my female ghost mantis(latte) and latte ate quite a lot of fruit flies but for some reason espresso only at like 1-2 and still looks hungry but hasn't eaten more. I moved both of them into different smaller enclosures that have a lot of fruit flies so they can eat. Can someone tell me why this guy is so stupid.

Came home to a surprise today

I thought these guys would still grow more before flowering but I guessed wrong. I started these from a sundew seed mix so my I believe it is D.intermida but correct me if I am wrong. Can someone tell me why these guys are so tiny since they should be bigger than this.

Are these good enclosures for my mantises?

The first enclosure if for my ghost mantis and I will add some sticks in the enclosure. The second one is for my timor shield mantis and it does have a mesh screen over it now. I just want to know if these are good enough for my new mantises. Any help is appreciated.

I made 2 of these enclosures for some ghost mantis nymphs that I will get next week. The top of the enclosures will be covered in mesh and I will add some springtails or isopods to remove mold. If you thing he plants are too much I do have a planter when I can place them instead. Any advice will be helpful.

I found the ootheca of a praying mantis species that I would really like to have but I don't want to pay for 32 dollar shipping. Since oothecas are eggs I was wondering if I can get away with slower shipping time.

I am going to my first reptile expo in 13 days and I am still relatively new to the mantis hobby. I heard that there are often mantises at these expos so which ones should I expect to find and which are beginer friendly.

I want to get 3 timor sheild mantises and I was wondering if I can divide my 10 gallon tank into 3 parts to separate the mantises? I did the math and that will give each mantis 6.6-10-12 inches of space, is that enough for some young mantises?
