I just graduated, how do I approach this?

As the title states, I just finished my degree in BUS IT (I also studied Computer Science, did plenty of Teaching Assistant work as well for Algorithms, Analytics, and Database Management).

For the past 2 years, I've been leading a B2B tech startup aimed at universities (I'm responsible for all backend systems, lead gathering, demographic capturing, etc.). I'm also fluent in Spanish.

How would you tackle this?

Want to improve at algorithms? Build your own tools

When i say “tools”, i don’t mean enter 2 values and sum them. No, i mean something that handles computational problems such as your own interpreter for a custom database, building anything that deals with time and conflict handling, scheduling, a custom code editor, etc.

Building a REST API isn’t going to improve these skills since they’re completely different (tho, you can still run into complexity with middleware and authentication).

I say this from my own experience building these tools. Here are examples of how it helped me:

It’s a good challenge and it really teaches you the fundamentals of problem solving and software development.

Ghost Recon "An Analytical View of ARMA's A.I." Part 2

For anyone interested in Ghost Recon 1, this is a fantastic video by BurnerTactical that really covers the depth that these AI offer!

It’s through Burner that I even got into the Ghost Recon series since I was blown away by the results here (and shortly afterwards with my own).

Hope you enjoy :)

How many here are genuinely looking for an app?

I'll see a post occasionally asking for a product, only to click on their history and see they're literally building something themselves.

So, genuine question, who here is genuinely looking for something and not building?

Problem with tools like Reclaim AI is that they're far too complex for the average person and require a lot of tinkering. Problem with Todoist is that it's far too simple.

So, we built a platform that is like a cross-fusion between the two. Simply upload any file (can do it manually if you prefer), check off items, drag and drop to customize, and sync with your Google Calendar (it's bi-directional!)

Let us know what you think! I'll be sharing the website link once we finish off the last remaining tickets.
