Why are we suddenly seeing so many political posts here? This is what the Mod said about it. What do you all think?
I get that moderation isn’t easy, and I appreciate the effort being put in. Just sharing a few thoughts from my side:
Since this is a city specific sub, it ideally should focus more on topics related to Jaipur rather than national politics.
Discussions around Jaipur’s local politics make sense and feel relevant here.
Lately, the increase in political posts seems to have overshadowed other kinds of conversations.
The sub doesn’t feel as relaxed and community-driven as it used to, and sometimes comes across like a general political debate space.
There are already several dedicated subs for national-level political discussions.
For someone visiting the sub to learn more about Jaipur, it might currently give a skewed impression if most posts are about national politics.
These are just my initial thoughts, and I’d be interested to hear what others in the community feel as well.
