199x’s? hardrock build complete :)
I’ve been following this thread for a while now and finally get to post my first build! It took a while for me to acquire all the parts but I finally collected them all through patience and digging through parts bins and scouring Facebook marketplace.
I changed the groupset from a 3x7 to a 2x10 deore groupset and I have to say I am very pleased with the speed, range, and smoothness of it all.
Got this bike of Craigslist from the original owner who bought it in Chicago in the 90s. He was a commercial actor and also breed African grey parrots which I found very interesting haha!
Anyways the bike has come a long way and I am pleased with how it looks and rides.
