Today is day 13. 💕
Not too much to report back yet, which honestly, I’m taking as a win. No one has come up sick or injured. All of their injuries are starting to scab over and we are definitely no longer catching up on sleep. 😅

• Leroy •
Last week I was starting to get worried about Roy Boy, he wasn’t eating and spent 80% of his days and nights pacing my hallway and crying. At one point he let loose a super mournful howl. It absolutely tore my heart out. I honestly cannot wait to get this big guy into his own forever home. He so desperately wants and needs someone he can bond with and rely on. I hate that he’s bonding to me - don’t get me wrong I ✨adore✨ Roy. He’s still the chillest, well mannered, & generally happy boy. If he’s not happy he’s likely asleep but probably still happy. 😆 I just want him to have a person of his own, he deserves that. With 7 dogs around and 3 being young puppies, he’s not getting the amount of attention I think he deserves. My husband is working out of town during the week so it’s just me to spread my love over 13 animals. If I had a bigger bed I’d let him sleep with me as I think he’d love it but again, he just needs his own people and home.

Roy is currently scheduled for vaccines this Wednesday. He also has a last resort neuter for June 10th. Not that the vet is bad at all, I just want to get him fixed, healed and headed home. 🥹
As of right now his vet care will cost a total of $270-ish.

• The Girls •
• Alli Marie - she’s started to show some spunk and more general puppy behaviors which makes me so happy. She is starting to ask for pets where before you had to go to her to initiate affection. She has learned the sit command, that we sit & be calm to get food put down, she’s got “kennel up” almost down too. She did show a little food resource aggression last week so we started feeding all puppies separately. They were eating so fast in order to get more than the other that they were getting sick almost every meal. I have noticed since separating them all of them have started slowing down and actually tasting their food. Alli’s favorite toys currently are the chew on toys for teething. 🩷🤓

• Cassi Joy - Cassi is my firecracker puppy. If she can push your boundaries just a little without getting in trouble she absolutely will lol. I will say she respects a stern no and I usually don’t have to ask her to stop more than twice. Cassi knows sit but will see if you’ll give her something for nothing a couple times first. She also knows “down/off” and “kennel up”. Cassi definitely takes more patience when training than the other two. She gets easily distracted but loves solo training sessions. She doesn’t do as well in group training because she’s always worried they will get something she doesn’t. Her current favorite toy is the little stuffed blue elephant squeaky toy with the massive ears. 🐘🩵

• Daisy Rae - Miss Daisy is officially the tomboy of the group lol. She spends most of her days playing with my 90lb LSG Rooster. She adores the mud and wearing it is even better than just playing in it. She is a rough player that has no give. She is also incredibly smart and does great in puppy group training like Alli. Daisy is the best at self soothing and entertaining herself, she is absolutely obsessed with the burrow interactive toys. I think I put them back together at least 6-7 times a day. Her favorite currently is the bunnies that go in the giant carrot. 🐰🥕

The girls also have a vaccine appointment on Wednesday.
The current plan I’d like to do for all of them is the same spay package as Roy’s which for them is $200 a piece but with vaccines more likely to be around $250 each.

I have $535 thanks to all the wonderful people here on Reddit! You guys are so amazing, I have cried a few times over having the opportunity to do best for them thanks to your help! The food, the toys, the supplements and the support… I truly cannot express in words how grateful and thankful I am. You didn’t have to but you did and I just thank you from the bottom of my heart. Which is why I hate to ask for more but I really don’t want to end up only neutering Roy due to funds. I’d love to send these girls to their homes with everything in order. I started another CashApp Pool for $500, please know I don’t expect anymore help and I will be posting their vaccines appointments receipts on Wednesday for all 4 dogs. I think it will end up costing be around $900-$1000 for all four. 🫠
I’m still checking for spay/neuter clinics near me.

If I don’t raise enough money I will split the money equally 4 ways and give it to their new owners to use towards their surgeries. 😊

Dumped Labradors • Day 6

Pictures in order: Leroy, Leroy, Alli, Alli, Cassie, Daisy, Daisy, Daisy, Daisy & Alli, all 4, all 4, Daisy with my mom - Cassie & Leroy, partially destroyed stuffie and their sleeping set up in my home. 😅

Today is day 6 with my four dumped labradors. They continue to amaze me with how sweet and loving they are despite everything they’ve been through. I have been working on getting them used to home life and making sure we can continue to do things like pick them up, mess with their paws, touch their mouth and be ok with fingers in their mouths, and putting my hand in their food bowl. Everyone has passed with flying colors. I plan to cat test either tomorrow or Friday evening when my husband is home from out of town. That’s not something I want to do alone.

We introduced a new male dog (he’s actually one of my previous fosters lol) today to just see how they would react after being somewhere safe and growing more into their own personalities, they did great. 🥹 We took LeRoy out first on a leash with Maverick (new dog) also on a leash. Immediate best friends, I’ve actually never seen LeRoy that excited to play with a dog. We released the puppies and did walks around my backyard w/ Maverick still leashed. A little nervous but they quickly got over it when they realized he was more interested in squeaky toys than them. That quickly became a game of “keep all toys from Maverick” lol. They took all the stuffies and toys from the backyard to their kennel. 😂

LeRoy • Someone put a decent amount of time into him, which only makes me all the more sad. Someone loved this dog and he clearly is the goodest boy. He knows a few commands; stay, sit, paw, kennel up and down/off. It makes me wonder why he ended up on my property. I’ve seen him correct his puppies twice and otherwise he’s not once shown an iota of aggression. He’s not a very good eater, I’m not sure why but we are making sure he gets somewhere quiet & alone to eat, it just takes him a while. He loves cuddles most and I can’t think of a situation he wouldn’t thrive in. We also found out he’s not big on beds or blankets, he much prefers a cool piece of wood or floor. His absolute favorite things so far are squeaky toys and peanut butter.

Alli Marie • She’s the brains of the operation. She’s also the tallest with ungodly long limbs. So she’s a counter surfer from hell. I’ve lost quite a few things to her clutches, she also will take dishes out of my sink but then only licks them clean. Then she grabs another if there is one lol. She is very quiet and somewhat timid but if you love on her she will be your best friend within seconds. She actually gets her namesake of Marie from my recently passed away 17yo GSD Margo Marie. They act a lot alike and she too was a ninja counter surfer. I find it hilarious she’s living up to her name.

Cassie Joy • Cassie is the bronze of the operation. Need a kennel torn down? Cassie. Need toys destuffed freaky fast? Cassie. Someone needs to “protect” her littermates? She’s there. She acts like she’s going to nip at new dogs the first few minutes but she never makes contact and if the new dog turns around while she’s delivering said sassy nip she will immediately look away and act busy elsewhere. She loves to play rough with my dogs Rooster and Juniper. Her and Juniper have full on tantrums to each other, they’re both incredibly vocal lol.

Daisy Rae • Definitely the shyest and most traumatized I think. She struggles with new situations and greatly relies on the confidence of other dogs around her. She’s always near a safe human asking for affection. She has not shown any aggression, she’s just scared still. She’s the most laid back and independent of the puppies, she enjoys playing by herself with burrow interactive toys and she’s very bright. If the other two puppies are doing a no no usually Daisy is hiding in the kennel.

I’m still looking for a place to get shots and spay/neuter. I think I have where it’ll be but I don’t want to jump and say the wrong information. I’ll try to update this post once I get their appointments scheduled.

All of them are absolute toy destroyers lol. We have already torn up some new toys so I’m trying to keep new toys inside and my old toys outside but it’s hard the keep track with 7 pups running out at once lol.
So far the females have top 3 toys; popcorn interactive toy, bunnies in carrot interactive toy and the pink squeaky donut. We did get some more in today though so this may not be the lineup for long lol.
Leroy loves the new strawberry squeaky toy with a rope, ever since I took it out this morning it has been •his•. 😂 He also really likes the tiny pink donut toy, 10/10 fit in mouth with optimal squeak.

I got a kiddie pool today and none of them were interested. I feel like I’m gonna have to get in there with them. So we shall see!

• Anything bought from the Amazon wishlist will stay with the pups and Leroy. I will give them to the next owners as long as it’s still in working shape. So if you purchase toys or a bed do know it will truly be •theirs• and will go with them.

• Why a $500 CashApp pool? I think that should cover at least getting them in for shots. (It also looks like it’ll cover a little more than shots.) I’m currently getting prices on spay and neuter clinics near me as I’d ideally like them all to leave my home fixed since I can’t find a rescue. I’m only $75 away from the $500, thank you guys so so much! You’re incredible!
I’m more than willing to post receipts as proof if you donate. Any other concerns please ask me!

Dumped Labradors Update

Hello friends, first and foremost, thank you all so much for the overwhelming support! People even asked if I had an Amazon Wishlist for them. It made me cry to see people even offer because this has been such a stressful situation. So thank you again! I do have an Amazon Wishlist created and I started a CashApp Pool and both will be linked below at the end along with a link to my original post. 👇🏻

Now onto the information you’re actually tuning in for; the pups. Their brief vet visit showed no major health issues we can see and sadly no chips. Nor has anyone stepped forward looking for them. I’d love to get their blood tested but I’m trying to be realistic in my means. 😅

I’ll start with the large intact male. My family has taken to calling him LeRoy as he is an utter King and true gentleman. He not only stuck with his pups protecting them, let them push him out of their food, and has been the most amazing house guest. He isn’t completely potty trained but he does his darndest. He refuses to potty in his kennel unless absolutely necessary which the puppies are also trying to do. I think he’s about 3-4 years old but mentally more like an old monk lol. He definitely knows sit and tries to do paw. If he understands the request he will immediately jump to.

The little females have already come so so far in just 70 odd hours. They were fairly aggressive and scared of my dogs at the beginning but after dedicating Friday morning to doing slow introductions and walks together they no longer act scared and are even starting to play with them. We’ve had a pack nap time twice already which was a giant puppy pile.

Daisy Rae is the cream one and she’s actually turning out to be the shyest girl. She’s incredibly sweet and still exhausted so she likes to sleep in their kennel a lot right now. She likes to follow my oldest female around for mental support. 💕

Alli Marie is the sore paw black female. Which is doing much much much better. It’s almost completely not bugging her now. She’s more leggy and long than her sisters. She’s the bravest but also the quietest. She has quickly found great joy in naps taken sitting in someone’s lap in the recliner. 🥹

Sassy Cassie aka Cassie Joy is the most opinionated of the pups and the last black female. She’s first to bark in a dog’s face like she’s big and bad and then get quite flustered if they even acknowledge her presence lol. She may look scary but she’s still figuring out she’s safe and so far she’s been all bark which is really funny to see her and my obnoxiously opinionated XL female start talking back and forth. That sounds like sisters arguing. 😂

We do short hour or two intervals where they can all commingle and then we separate them all again. Give them space to destress and relax alone with the dogs they feel most comfortable with and I think it’s helped. So far no growling except when food was around which makes sense, they’re still very unsure on their next meal. They saw my cats briefly today and while interested no one freaked out so that’s a good start to me. We will go slow there. Very slow. Then at night everyone has separate living spaces.

• What’s the plan? •

• Anything bought from the Amazon wishlist will stay with the pups and Leroy. I will give them to the next owners as long as it’s still in working shape. So if you purchase toys or a bed do know it will truly be •theirs• and will go with them.

This week I plan to deworm them, hopefully get them heart worm tested too. Otherwise my vets brief look over Friday tells me they’re pretty healthy pups! Thankfully! Just lots of cuts, bumps and bruises. More emotional trauma than anything but we got that, it’ll be ok. They’re already bouncing back. 💪🏼

At this point in time I’m only looking for backup adopters in case any fall through. I’m out of SW Missouri (towards Joplin). Rehoming fee is $100 and if I transport I do tack on gas for my car but fear not it gets 35mpg.

More pictures and videos to come. ❤️

\\ EDIT TO ADD //
I did add new items to the Amazon wishlist because you guys were insanely amazing and got the entire list last night. 😭 I added lots of toys, 2 more beds so everyone can take home a bed, more grooming materials, 3 slow feeders because these puppies turn into feral black holes when the chow comes out, and I realized I don’t have adult dog food for LeRoy •but• that’s not a huge problem as he can definitely eat the large breed puppy food but if someone wanted to donate specifically to the big guy - he’s definitely earned it. (I will hopefully have enough to be sending food with the dogs when they leave so they can either be changed over to whatever their owners prefer or their owners can have time to purchase it after getting them.)
I did add some bandanas and a bow tie lol. I’m a photographer and I plan to take full advantage of their adorable faces and I figured I’d put them on there.

I have 0 expectations to get anything on there so IF you choose to buy them items off their wishlist or donate to their vet care just know I am so beyond grateful. I honestly don’t have the words to express myself properly I feel. I was big stressed on how I’d get these pups vetted and fixed but then you guys came out of nowhere and lifted me up so I can give them the care they so deserve. I just can’t. 😭🤯💕
I also will not be offended if you ask me why something is in the list or if you have tips on items good for puppies not on there PLEASE let me know. I recently got rid of all my dogs threadbare toys and blankies so that’s why there’s so many on there. I love these pups but them using my Vera Bradley blankets is giving me anxiety. 😅😭😂

If you buy them toys or any items I can get them to pose with before digging into I will absolutely be posting those pictures here and my TikTok.

Again y’all, thank you so so much. 🥹❤️🙏🏼

Hopefully they weren’t dumped.

Last night I walked out to find these four on my property looking for food and water. I live in the middle of nowhere. I have five neighbors within a long walk but these guys definitely aren’t theirs and I asked lol.

I have posted locally to try and find their owner(s), I’ve called the Sheriff department but my county has no animal shelter or anywhere for them to go. This makes 7 dogs in my small home and mine aren’t taking well to the new outnumbering guests. I do plan to take the male that has a collar on (no tag) to see if he has a microchip this morning once my vet opens.

Yesterday I walked out my front door to a handsome black lab I’d never seen before. He was scrounging for food and water. I called him over and some movement caught my attention by my mailbox and these 3 girls came tromping out. They can’t be more than a couple months old.

The females are sweet but scared senseless. 2 black and 1 blonde female. Look to be some sort of field labs. Very sweet to humans but big dogs definitely make them a little defensive & nervous. They’ve never struck out but I get lots of growls and barks but we do have more waggy tails and less hackles on end this morning. In their defense my biggest female is obnoxious as H*ll so she was a •lot• to handle as a scared baby. One of the black females seems to have injured her front right paw, she’s tender but can put weight and does allow me to handle her.

The adult male is an utter sweetheart and luckily he is neutered! Even when my dogs (1 being a large male) were buttholes to him he just kept wagging his tail and trying to play. If the puppies push him out of his food, he just accepts it. They jump on him, bite him, smack him? He’s good. Not an unhappy bone in the boys body. He understands what sit is, kind of understands paw and he does know what a leash is. Someone put at least a little effort into him. He also appears semi potty trained.

I think I’m going to grab some capstar for them today as they have ticks. So capstar and a bath may be our to do today.

Here’s to hoping I find their owner(s) or I find them a rescue. Prayers needed! 🥹🙏🏼🩷

I am located in SW Missouri near the Kansas border in the US.

You can see me actually dying due to their adorableness in the back behind them. 😂 These two are the very best friends. They cuddle constantly and if they aren’t cuddling they’re playing.

Juniper is a Great Dane • Malinois mix who is almost 4.

Rooster is a Kangal • GSD mix who has just turned 1.
