The fact that he did check on her before leaving Earth made me smile & He didn't tell her that because there was no need to do it yk why make her feel awkward with it and all , she was living a good life and that's exactly what he wished for her yk to move on & enjoy life with someone who can be with her at all times because he realised that his world is a lot more different than hers.
First of all he has done more than anyone else for this planet if you think clearly & he definitely deserved the retirement and family time ...now for all he has done he deserves respect but here he gained even more , he's very practical about this situation like he knew that he's more than capable of lending a helping hand & he should because that's what he's good at & after all it's his Planet too.
Forget Viltrumites how Immortal does against them ( S1 Flaxxan mech ) and how many will be needed to take him down ?
I liked that Mark thought about it from her point of view , He understood that she was desperate & wanted to save her world no matter the cost but that's not right so he actually sat down with her and explained the facts and made her see the picture that most people can gladly provide a helping hand if you just ask nicely , also he definitely rizz her up because she was impressed with him yk no one else took the liberty to sit with her and through with it all but he did.
At this point in the story Mark wasn't a slouch in comparison to Nolan like maybe not as skilled & experienced but he definitely would have given him a tough time & here he wasn't just faking it albeit was trying to get on Nolan's nerves about it but that's because he could have actually stood his ground quite well.
Thragg punched Nolan all the way back to space in a single hit , impressive strength display by him & even more impressive display of durability by Nolan and gif doesn't capture it all because Nolan was moving & moving for quite a while until he collided with the ring of Viltrumite corpses.
One of my most favourite shots from season 4 , it's episode 8 when Mark had gone for a flight to clear his mind as Eve said but it ended up the way he didn't want it to end up.....he was looking for Viltrumites around the world & also hoping he doesn't find them.
I think they should really get deep with this yk Mark losing his powers because of the scourge virus albeit mentioned its mostly temporary but there's always a chance of the loss being permanent , so they really have the opportunity with this to humanise Mark even more yk Eve says wait until you have to drive somewhere , maybe he catches a cold or gets tired after walking around because he can't fly now so all this could help in mature even more & appreciate human lives more than ever because he has lived those experiences before getting his powers but for like the past 5 years he was unaware of it all.
This is likely where episode 6 or 7 ends next season , our boy gets his powers back because Eve helps him relieve all that stress along with the virus after effects as well.
From today onwards until early next year probably around till March or April every Wednesday is going to be a normal one and it's the very start of it before we get our [TITLECARD] Wednesdays back.
