VW t roc under 4 years old with less than 30k on the clock. Cleaned usually with bilt hamber products, touchless, autowash, autowheel, the odd time with infinity wax liquid fire but not regularly

I'm just trying to figure out what could cause this type of damage and how to prevent it on my next car, I haven't been hammering acidic wheel cleaners or anything like that, alloys aren't coated just standard r line ones which might be diamond cut or something?

Just wondering if it's stone chips and I've been unlucky, if so then ceramic coating the wheels on my next car probably won't prevent that sort of damage!
