What would be a good budget-friendly light for a small reef tank (54L)?

And how many watts should I roughly be looking for?

I was so hyped back then, spent way too much time setting it up and just sitting there watching the fish lol. It wasn’t anything crazy, but I was really proud of it.

Sadly I had to give it away when I moved, couldn’t take it with me. That one hurt a bit ngl.

But yeah, that’s what got me into the hobby in the first place, and now I’m getting back into it again. Thought I’d share where it all started 🙂

When would be the perfect time to introduce the fish or corals? I’ve already measured the parameters and they’re relatively fine — nothing concerning.

I just started my very first saltwater aquarium and I’m still super new to all of this.

I recently installed a hang-on-back (HOB) filter, and on the first day the flow was pretty strong – it reached all the way down to the bottom of the tank.

But now, after about 2 days, the flow seems noticeably weaker and doesn’t reach the bottom anymore.

I’m not sure if this is normal or if something is already wrong.

Do I need to clean or replace the filter media already? Or could something be blocking it?

Any advice would be really appreciated!
