
Gibable Corpses Bloody Hell Edition (Ultra Brutal UT) 1.1 update feature
I just added some new features to the Gibable Corpses mutator.
Update Changelog:
- Killing Blow Dismemberment: The limb-severing mechanics now properly apply to the exact shot that kills the enemy (previously, it only worked when shooting an existing ragdoll). Now, the finishing blow will likely rip a chunk off the victim, just to make things a little messier right from the start!
- Cinematic Gore Camera: Before this fix, the death camera would lose focus and glitch out if your body got gibbed. Now, the camera physically attaches to your fastest-flying, bouncy meat chunk so you can truly feel the momentum of being blown to pieces! Bonus feature: The kill cam now dynamically locks onto your killer and automatically pitches downward as you fly through the air. Enjoy a glorious bird's-eye view of your own gore splatter on the fly!
- Hyper-Violent Ragdoll Spin: Dramatically increased the angular momentum (spin) of ragdolls upon impact to make deaths feel much more chaotic and violent. Shoot someone in the leg, and you might just trigger a cinematic, COD-style death flip. (Spin intensity is fully adjustable via the .ini file, of course).
- Skeletizing Weapons = Instant Gibs: Weapons like the Link Gun (or any weapon with a skeletizing effect) will now instantly gib the victim instead of turning them into a skeleton. The vanilla skeletizing effect is notoriously glitchy with ragdoll physics (especially on the v3374 patch), so making the corpse violently explode is just a much better (and messier) solution.
