Did Anyone Else Have Trouble with the Last Biome?
Biome 6 - Abyssal Scar
I haven't finished the game yet but I am working on that. Last night was demoralizing because I got pretty deep into Abyssal Scar twice and things didn't go well.
First one, I reached Ophion but since I didn't know the boss, I had an inadequate gun (the Rotgland Lobber), which felt like it dragged the fight more than needed. I ended up dying to Ophion's last phase, maybe at 20% health remaining.
Second one, I died a bit earlier, in the "bridge" of invisible platforms leading up to the boss' room. Got assaulted by three of those floating elites who spam pink corruption projectiles. The last one of those enemies did me in and filled me with malfunctions, removing multiple defensive artifacts and later, the astronaut figurine. I knew then and there my run was over and I was killed shortly after.
So this makes it maybe 4-5 times I've died in this biome so far, with me reaching Ophion only once. I understand this is considered the easiest biome by many, which is kinda wild to me - I'm either missing something (getting unlucky with builds is a possibility maybe) or the biome actually got buffed via updates, but I definitely had less trouble with some of the earlier biomes (Crimson Wastes and Derelict Citadel, for example).
