Do Telegram channel owners actually need websites?

I kept noticing the same thing: a lot of creators and communities publish valuable content in Telegram, but almost all of that value stays trapped inside the app. No real search visibility, weak archival value, and very limited discoverability outside Telegram.

So I built a small experiment called Chanify - a tool that turns a public Telegram channel into a standalone website and keeps it updated automatically.

The idea is:

  • Telegram stays the publishing workflow
  • the website becomes the searchable archive
  • new posts sync automatically
  • Google gets clean pages and a sitemap instead of relying on Telegram

I’m testing whether this solves a real problem or just sounds clever on paper.

Curious what you think:

  • useful or unnecessary?
  • who would actually pay for this?
  • what would make it much more compelling?
