Took sutures out - too early?
31M. Cut my thumb with a chef knife 7 days ago. Doctor told me to get the sutures out after a week. Waited 7 days and took thel out, however the bottom part doesn't seem to have closed well. I know i'm an idiot and this should have been done by a professional, however i'm poor and have no insurance. Can i slap some strips on this and let it heal by itself or would this require additional sutures?
The yellow part is iodine, however i'm worried that the middle white tissue is visible muscle.
