BA lounge at Miami is a serious step up
Just flown CW to Miami and the renovated BA lounge is amazing. Huge space, cocktail bar, really nice decor and the food was awesome - melt-in-your-mouth beef, roasted fish, nice salads with avocado and cured meats, fresh dips.
Made me realise how distinctly average the T5 offering is by comparison. I gather it was an expensive project but it just shows that BA does know how to pull it out of the bag (it just mostly chooses not to). I’ll park the meagre drink service on a 9 hour flight and the old CW cabins on this occasion.
