Recently I have been really interested in interpretations of the Oddyesey however I haven’t fully read it so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.😅

I know that Poseidon is the main antagonist of the story and his actions seem quite cruel as he relentlessly torments Oddyseus despite him having no choice but to blind the cyclops in an attempt to escape. My question is how do people still worship Poisedon after all of that?

Another example ,however I know about this a lot less, people still worship Aphrodite despite her being the reason the whole Trojan war started?

How much do you guys believe in the Greek myths?
