Looking for User Feedback on Financial Video Games

Greeting everyone so I have been working on something very unique.

I am a Doctorate Student in Finance. I literally just took my textbook, notes, and everything to learn super fast and made it a videogame.

Definitely this is for anyone that has interest in learning about Credit Repair, real estate, options trading, and even a video game on retirement.

How I Solved Payment Processing with Vibe Coding App

It seems almost impossible to contribute without mentally ill people thinking you are AI. So I will say it anyway but Ai can still write that 🤦🏾‍♂️.

There has been a massive influx of AI apps and this same thing happened during the crypto app influx.

Stripe goes out of its way to flag your application and remove you from the site.. literally happened to me not once but twice and the second time they hold your money.

once again I am a Founder that posts about real issues that I solved. I get $0 money from this, no affiliate links no nothing. For all of the weird redditors who think mentioning a solution to a real problem is somehow you make money..like dude that's super annoying because people like myself that have real experience of failures and how I overcame it.

most vibe coding apps do not make money. that's the data. I don't care what StarterStory says or whatever YouTuber that launched 48 hours ago and makes 100k MRR says. I am just saying before you put to much energy in what your building figure out how you will process payments.

FYI - Most Solutions will not be free like Stripe unfortunately ...For me I found Whop and it literally started processing payments immediately.

That's all folks- if this truly helped show some love with upvoter but sometimes some many people are drowning they don't want those trying to not drown to get the info that actually solves a problem. ✌🏾

I really need to know (How to Use Reddit as Entrepreneur)?

I spent the last 6 hours posting on Reddit. Long form Posts trying to share my journey of how I went form basically 30 users (over 6 months) to Plus 1000 in over the last week. I was met with downvotes, accusations of being AI, lying, and just removing my posts.

I really would like to know how do Entrepreneurs use Reddit. I literally have some sauce to help but the people in the groups just have a weird disdain. Now I am at the point of, giving up on helping people on Reddit. I literally have a family of 5 to take care of. I literally think Reddit is a great community but its almost like you wasting your time it seems like sometimes.

I realized many Aspiring Entrepreneurs on Reddit do not want actual help. They want to complain and make it seem like you had some advantage over them to justify them not reaching yuor level. The reality in my opinion seems that they just do not want to do the real work.

I mentioned earlier that I get 10 Users a day doing, In-Person Pitches and got downvoted and accused of being AI. This has gotten Nuts!

How I got My First 1000 Users (Over Last 2 Weeks) at 39 Years Old

First let me bless the Room! I missed the newest YCombinator applications for the deadline that just hit. I knew I wasnt ready but next year Here we come or whenever the next Cohort Opens Up.

I am 39 and listen this is real talk. I am a Serial business owner since I have been 20 years old. I have had mini successes and failure. I know what its like to raise 100s of thousands, have a business valued in the millions (409A Valuation), Go Broke after all of that, be Self Employed, and have job trying to run a business.

I have basically seen so many different phases of self employment and startup life.

The absolute first thing I have to say is "I JUST DIDNT QUIT"!

Obviously I know this is not my first 100k Users or 1 Million Users or even 10k Users but I am proud of the Users that I do have and Its my First 1000. I am a very Intelligent Data Scientist and I just couldnt get people to engage with my Application. I kept getting the same feedback.

With this being said this is How I Got my First 1000 Users:

-Direct Email People

-In Person Sign Ups (This is very underrated) Pitch your application to people and business in person will force you to make improvements because they will challenge you and ask questions.

In Person Networking really helped me get multiple Signups in a day. Sign ups are different than users. Sign Ups are basically people that create an account. Users are people that actually use your platform. This is actually how you start gathering and collecting data. Signups is a good start but Users are actually more important.

I decided not to require Website visitors to sign up or pay before using your App. This may work for some people because if someone wants it bad enough they will pay or create an account but in my situation. I just identified my product market fit.

-Enter Pitch Competitions (Its plenty of free ones and paid ones, enter as many of these as possible to define your pitch)

-Utilize Boardy AI to find New Clients and Social Media Influencers (It actually works)

-Create a Target Customer Profile (before you spend money on any ads - I made this mistake) Its a waste of money to just create ads. First Identify who will be using your product. Let those people give you direct Feedback. Forget what your Sister or girlfriend said (unless they are your target customers)

-Post Value (literally what I am doing now and the REDDIT Gods will Bless you) My years of posting on Reddit and being banned sometimes for literally no reason finally let a post go through and it has been a learning process since then!

I have sent messages to plenty of people I thought were my friends who didnt even message me back. When they have some good news thats all they want to talk about. Having a Good NetWork is essential to breaking through and gaining traction with your Startup.

Lets be Clear I am not pretending like 1000 is a lot of users but i promise you when I had 12, 19, 30...It was brutal so I know there is a real process to scale from 100 to 1000. Hopefully I was able to provide value to those that are getting little to no traction

SIE Changed my Life Twice! When I Studied for it and when I Passed it!

This is the Ultimate Study Guide for the SIE (I Studied 4 Months and Passed). I am not one of these young guns that studied in 1 week and passed. Im 39 and took me 4 months. I literally took the exams on the finra website and on ChatGPT until I was ready.

FINRA PRACTICE EXAM:

Purchased Study Guide Here:

The SIE changed my life for one reason (it also is why it took me so long to take exam). The SIE actually teaches the Mechanics of Options Trading if you pay attention. It really does. The language it uses like Writer and all that can be confusing but learning about:

  • Cash accounts
  • margin accounts
  • margin requirement
  • Bid/Ask prices
  • How to actually read an Options Contract
  • Buy Call
  • Sell Calls
  • Verticals
  • Sell to Open
  • Sell to Close
  • Buy to Open
  • Buy to Close

I took that info and learned how to trade Options in like 30 days (with the help of AI) which got me on the path of studying for the Series 57 (Basically a license to do Options Trading - (Securities Trader Representative).

Not many Prop Firms exist with Options Trading because the market is closed for too long. Prop Firm opportunities present themselves for Series 57 License Holders.

This caused me to launch an entire software around gamifying options trading and the usership was mediocre at best. Now lets fast forward on how it changed my life the second time.

This happened after I passed the SIE Exam and decided to take all my notes and instead of trashing it I decided to put the mall into AI and I launched an SIE Videogame and it has literally been blowing up ever since.

SIE VideoGame:

It has been an amazing journey I will admit. We have gotten like 1000 people using the App as of about 2 weeks ago. I am going to enjoy it and hopefully it helps you all out reading this. Please provide Feedback (feedback will be published on the website - we redact Reddit Usernames).

I am definitely open to working with License Professionals to help spread Financial Literacy because as someone that works in AI, its coming for a lot of careers.

My Credentials

-Licensed Life Insurance Professional (Texas)

-SIE Passed

-Series 65 (Failed 6 points - taking again)

-Professional Options Trader

-Doctorate in Finance (Graduate May 2029)

-Financial Education Provider in State of Texas

JUST PASSED SIE EXAM and Here is how I did it!

I spent about $20. I purchased the Study Guide Here:

https://www.testgeekexamprep.com/products/sie-practice-final

I promise the SIE is not as Easy as some of these arrogant Finance people make it seem. People do fail the SIE about 25 - 30% of the time. Do not sleep on this exam. I took the Series 65 and the SIE is no joke!

Practice Exams I used:

I am a Data Scientist and I have been working in Tech awhile and decided to just gamify it because some of the material especially bonds can just rack a brain!!!

I studied for 4 months, so much so I actually Built a Videogame to help me and hopefully it helps you out. I basically just took all the questions and made it a real game. Hopefully this catches on definitely would love some feedback and will be doing the same for Series 65 when I take it again in a few months.
