Pls suggest a good saloon where the barber knows stuff and doesn't only cut one sided 🤡 as of now all of them only cut one sided no matter what u say or mean 😭

TIA!

Yo Pune people, (rephrased w/ gemini)

I’ve had a few "incidents" lately that really make me wonder what’s going on with the road sense in our city. I’m not trying to rant for the sake of it, but some of these close calls are just terrifying. Please, for your own safety, have a look at these scenarios:

1. Squeezing at turns (College gate incident) Today, I was turning out of my college gate with my indicator clearly on. This guy on a 2-wheeler tried to squeeze in on my left to turn simultaneously. As I completed my turn and adjusted slightly to the left on the service road to avoid oncoming traffic, he couldn't handle the space, dashed into my car, and fell.

  • The reality: It was 100% his fault for lane-splitting, yet he tried to blame me. Luckily, he wasn't hurt and my car was fine, but if you collide with a 4-wheeler, you are the one who gets injured, not the car.

2. The Highway "Crawler" The other day, I saw a lady in the 3rd lane (the fast lane) of a highway doing maybe 50 km/h when the limit was 80. I saw her from a distance and moved to the 2nd lane to pass. Even after three "big ass" warning honks to let her know I was there, she started drifting into the 2nd lane right as I was passing her. 🤡

  • The reality: Please have some lane sense. If you aren't going at highway speeds, stay in the left-most lane. Drifting blindly across lanes is how major accidents happen.

3. The "Blind" Speeder I was driving on a relatively empty road when a guy on a scooty came flying down an uphill perpendicular to the main road. He didn’t even look—just sped straight into my path. I had to slam my brakes and stopped literally 1 foot from him. He was in his own world.

  • The reality: If I hadn't reacted in time, he would have been seriously hurt. Physically, nothing would have happened to me inside the car, but he would’ve paid a heavy price for a second of being "in his own world."

The Bottom Line:

  • Stop lane-splitting at high speeds: Especially between heavy vehicles or at turns.
  • Stay out of the 3rd lane on highways: People are at high speeds there. If someone with slow reflexes or bad control hits you, uska kuch nahi jayega, tum chale jaoge.
  • Don't rely on other people's reflexes: Many people in Pune don't have the "brake at will" reflexes you think they do. Don't bet your life on a stranger's ability to stop.

Drive predictably, stay safe, and let’s stop trying to save two minutes at the risk of everything.

How has your experience been lately on Pune roads? Any specific spots where people just stop caring about rules?

Soo i completed TCS marathon today it was creazyyy. i did not think i had energy for it and frankly this was my first proper marathon. so i challenged myself and it was literally such a good experience. i go to the gym usually but i never tried creatine before but at the pre event some pretty good stalls were there, in fact I sampled man matters creatine plus electrolyte which helps you recover faster specially for people who run marathons, so i tried that for first time also. This was good cause i didnt feel like i was going to faint like during the run and I was so hydrated. i am planning to join more and more activities like this. if y'all havent run marathons yet - my suggestions would be please do!!
