Discharge for failing AFT
I know some of you will judge but it’s ok i understand but i am getting discharge for failing the AFT (combat standards) I have a hip injury that’s been going on and probably will get surgery soon and along with my knee pain and hands and wrist I can’t really function properly without pain. I wish it was a medical discharge but the provider said im still to far from that process so here I am. It’s too late now. I was a pretty high speed soldier , never gave them any problems, always did what I was told but my pain got the best of me and tbh im not even mentally here anymore. Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice that would help me transition to civilian? Can I fight to get a honorable discharge? Thanks
Edit: forgot to mention I am and was on profile for these injuries for like a year now, they’ll catch me on days im not on profile to take an AFT or they’ll kick me out so I did try and push myself I was pushing myself beyond my limits but my hip just can’t take it.
