I'm sure Cyan has a basement Luo can live in rent-free.
Why Luo X Queen is actually a top tier ship.
*I saw people getting riled up at clearly AI arguments made in jest/to shitpost. Throwing my hat into the ring and keeping with the theme of doing this with Queen ships because it looked funny.
Queen and Luo have a potential dynamic that embodies the classic “order versus chaos” relationship in a way that would feel emotionally charged rather than purely ideological.
Queen represents control, discipline, and image. She carries herself with authority and seems deeply aware of responsibility and perception. Luo, meanwhile, exists almost as her opposite: unpredictable, dangerous, freedom seeking, emotionally volatile, and a direct challenge to the ordered trust structure Queen seeks to make. On paper they should repel each other — which is exactly why the pairing becomes compelling.
The strongest support for the relationship comes from the idea that each character exposes truths the other tries to suppress.
- Queen could see humanity in Luo when others only see destruction. Luo’s reputation as “The Calamity” reduces him to a symbol of fear, but Queen is one of the few characters who could plausibly look beyond that label. Because she herself lives under the burden of expectations and titles, she would recognize the difference between a public identity and a private self.
- Luo challenges Queen’s emotional restraint. Queen is highly controlled, often to the point of emotional repression. Luo’s chaotic personality could force genuine reactions out of her — anger, concern, frustration, curiosity. In storytelling, the person who breaks through a character’s carefully maintained composure is often positioned as emotionally significant.
- Their interactions naturally create intimacy through conflict. Romantic tension is often built through ideological clashes where both sides become fascinated by the other’s worldview. Queen and Luo would constantly test each other’s beliefs about justice, power, and freedom. That kind of intellectual and emotional friction creates a relationship that feels intense and transformative.
- Both characters are isolated. Queen is isolated by responsibility and status; Luo is isolated by fear and alienation. Both are isolated by society stripping of them their humanity. They occupy opposite ends of society but share the same loneliness. That parallel creates the foundation for mutual understanding.
What makes the ship especially appealing is that it would not be a soft or easy romance. It would be built on conflict, fascination, vulnerability, and the possibility that two people who seem fundamentally incompatible actually understand each other better than anyone else does.
How much do you all think the VAs / other cast know about the agendas and such?
We know LHO knows about the E-Soul and yellow = character death memes as well as popularity of members of the side cast. I'd be shocked if he didn't know about Cyandere or Wrice.
I've seen Lin Ling and Cyan's voice actors share fanart. I've seen Luo, LJ's, X's, and other VAs happily talk about their roles / advertise them as central roles to them via social media posts/ banners.
I saw a screenshot of one of the music directors saying they supported the Cyan/Luo ship (but can't find it sadly).
For all we know, the staff could be anonymously spreading agendas themselves. They could be you. They could be me. They could even be-
