Will this work?
my LL replaced my garage door with a new door from an old wood one, did not connect the motor as it is off center by about a foot. (got a support column dead center) I’m on hook for damages for sure. if my jury rig is risking damage in anyway, please let me know and how I can fix (while keeping it operational) I don’t want my garage to be secured by just a little 3/8 lock.
(I know the hardware is stupid as hell it’s what I had to do with what I had on hand haha will be getting them next time I’m at the depot)
**I forgot to add it seems to be perfectly operational and working fine of course. Those plates I added are steel and like 6” to spread the pressure on the door, there are so many of them cus the bolts are not full thread lol.
