Elon Musk’s alleged baby mama claims he told her he used Starlink satellites to influence the 2024 election. Do you think this is true? Liberals argue her claim is credible, while MAGA supporters say liberals are showing cognitive dissonance.

For context: Ashley St. Clair, Elon Musk’s alleged baby mama, who is currently involved in a custody dispute over their child, alleges that Musk discussed using Starlink satellites for covert purposes in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. She also claims Musk showed her real-time voting data from his America PAC during private conversations. St. Clair says she believes there may have been potential election manipulation through technology and has chosen to make her allegations public despite claiming she faced harassment and attempts to silence her.

Liberals are arguing that she may be credible, pointing to the fact that she has a child with Elon Musk and may have had personal conversations with him.

MAGA supporters argue that she is not credible, noting that she is currently involved in a custody dispute with Musk.

MAGA supporters also claim that liberals are exhibiting cognitive dissonance and are projecting beliefs without evidence of election interference. MAGA claims liberals believe it because they want it to be true because they can't come to terms that Kamala lost the election, and reality is easier to cope if they pretend Elon Musk stole it. They compare this to what they describe as the “Russia hoax” claims surrounding the 2016 election.

What is the truth? Could Elon Musk’s baby mama have a vendetta against Musk and be willing to say anything to damage public opinion of him? Or is she being truthful? Where is the proof? Is there really cognitive dissonance where people WISH for it to be true and delude themselves into beleiving this?

ICE is building a detention center in California. Why does MAGA call farm owners who employ illegal immigrants “modern-day slave owners”? Does illegal immigration really only benefit the capitalist elite by depressing wages for American workers? Is that even a logical comparison? Why or why not?

Photo 1 Question:

Apparently ICE is building a large detention center in California, and there are now protests against it. Some people online(mainly MAGA) are criticizing a "farmer" (or really the person who owns the farm) who is protesting the ICE facility, arguing that the farm owner is part of the capitalist elite and is trying to protect his business interests rather than workers.

They claim the farm owner would rather employ 900 illegal immigrants than American workers because undocumented labor is cheaper and less likely to demand higher wages or better conditions(due to fear of deportations). Because of this, some people are calling him a “modern-day slave owner.”

Is that even a fair comparison? Does MAGA have a point when they claim that American workers are more likely than illegal immigrants to protest poor working conditions because they cannot be threatened with deportation? Why or why not?

Photo 2 Question:

Is it hypocrisy for people who demand a livable wage to also oppose an ICE detention center?

Some MAGA supporters argue that it is hypocritical because they believe illegal immigration increases the labor supply and suppresses wages, mainly benefiting the capitalist elite who seek cheaper labor and higher profits at the expense of the working class. They are applying the concept of supply and demand to the labor market. From MAGA’s perspective, removing illegal immigrants from the workforce through deportations or detention would create more job openings and increase bargaining power for American workers.

Are MAGA supporters wrong? Why or why not?

Trump responds to three-time Trump voters who say they are struggling financially. He tells them not to worry because the stock market is high. Is this Trump’s “let them eat cake” moment? MAGA supporters often argue this is not what he meant, so what did he mean? Did Biden handle the economy better?

MAGA, what do you think of this? Is this his "let them eat cake" moment?

--------

In before people claim "tHat's nOt whAt he mEaNt, FoX is FAkE NeWs": okay, so what did he mean then? What is your source for that claim? Do you personally speak with Trump to know what he meant? He said those exact words in the image on Fox News, right?

I get the feeling that many MAGA supporters speak on Trump’s behalf despite never meeting or knowing him personally, often reframing his comments as “he said that, but that’s not what he meant,” and subconsciously projecting their own interpretation of his intent without clear evidence. So what did he actually mean in your opinion?

Would Biden have handled this economy and gas prices better?

We can fit the entire world’s population into the state of Texas. So for the people who say we don’t need immigrants because “America is full,” why not? Don’t we need immigration to grow our economy? If so, why not a billion more people in the USA?

Well?

Why not? I don't see anything wrong with a billion new immigrants arriving to the USA. We clearly have the space for it.

The image shows that if Texas had the same population density as New York, the entire world’s population(around 8 billion people) could fit within the state of Texas.

Should illegal immigrants who have lived in the U.S. for many years and started families here be exempt from deportation? Is this what MAGA voted for? Does MAGA not have any sympathy? Do you think if Republicans win the mid-terms that deportations will increase?

Has the United States regressed socially? Do you think people 150 years from now will say, ‘Yeah, Americans in the 2020s were racist’? Why is a livestreamer who made over $1 million harassing minorities and calling them the n-word to their faces still receiving donations even after being arrested?

For context, there’s a livestreamer called ‘Chud the Builder’ who has reportedly made over $1 million by livestreaming himself provoking strangers in public. He repeatedly calls people, often minorities, racial slurs like the n-word directly to their face and insults them to trigger reactions for donations through "tips" on his livestreaming episodes, which he claims is ‘free speech.’ He often does this near bars or in higher-crime areas where people may be more likely to react on camera. Once they react, he claims they are "Chimping out". If confronted or assaulted, he has reportedly used pepper spray or a firearm and frames it as self-defense.

According to AP News, the man is now being charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Tennessee. A witness described the person who was shot by the livestreamer as Black. The livestreamer also reportedly asked whether he had accidentally shot himself.

However, Chud the Builder appears to have gained a fanbase and has raised over $75,000 after being arrested.

Is verbally harassing people free speech? Is calling people the n-word protected speech? What should happen to him? Do you think that in the year 2167 Americans will look back and think, “Yeah, people were racist in 2026”? Is this similar to how modern Americans view the Confederacy? Is the MAGA movement responsible for this? Has livestreaming financially incentivized "immoral" harassment?

I'm confused. A Democrat Mayor of a city in California pleaded guilty for being a foreign agent on behalf of China. Aren't many politicians doing the same with being agents of Israel and Russia? Why are Israel and Russia given a pass?

The Daily Wire (co-founded by Ben Shapiro) reportedly lost 85% of its audience and has had layoffs. Has its audience shifted further right toward Nick Fuentes? Is this a “leopards ate my face” moment? Thoughts?

Well?

Is this a “leopards ate my face” moment?

Ben Shapiro was a pretty prominent right-wing conservative commentator, consistently defending conservative politicians and often doubling down on right-wing hot takes. Some critics argue his rhetoric helped "normalize" figures like Nick Fuentes and contributed to stochastic terrorism by pushing fringe ideas closer to mainstream conservative and American political discourse.

Now it looks like he’s lost a significant chunk of his audience. It seems ironic... the same conservative voters he helped shape seems to have shifted further right, with Nick Fuentes viewed by some as more influential among younger online audiences, who label figures like Ben Shapiro as “cuckservatives” for being too moderate. Ben has also faced backlash, including antisemitic remarks directed at him.

Is Ben reaping what he sowed? Will he have to lay in his bed? Do you think Ben cares? Do you feel bad he lost 85% of his viewership in the span of a year? What are the consequences?

There was a California governor's debate and this happened. Who is wrong and why?

MAGA claims that Democrat Katie Porter is playing dumb by pretending she can't tell the difference between someone illegally immigrating and someone legally immigrating by following the rules to become a naturalized American. Does MAGA have a point?

Liberals claim that Steve Hilton is not even a natural-born American, so why is he even "meddling" in American affairs and how is it fair that he can even have a say in American politics. Do liberals have a point? Should foriengers even have a say in American politics?

Who slayed? Katie Porter or Steve Hilton?

Where did the word "Slopulism" originate from? Did it originate from here? I hear it pop-up when people talk about rent control policies comparing it to being a slop policy.

Did it originate from this sub? Or where? I thought it was funny but a better way to get the message across.

I hear stories about people ignoring the jury summons in Orange County.

Are people not afraid of the consequences?

Edit: I was wondering because I feel like all the "upstanding" citizens, the risk averse, and busy bodies with too much time usually end up on juries...

I’ve heard some people say they’d support a hung jury in the name of social justice, for example in cases involving protests against ICE. But that seems unlikely, since the same people who argue for that outcome are often the ones who don’t show up for jury duty in the first place... 🤔

Steve Hilton is a Republican, and then we have billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer in the race. But word on the street is that one of the Democratic candidates is a “spoiler” who is allegedly funded by AI billionaires and meant to split the vote to allow a Republican to win in California. However, these claims are unconfirmed and mostly circulating online(mainly on Reddit and Twitter).

It can be easily checked on the internet which candidates have been backed by “AI” and big tech donors.

I’m pretty sure that if non-Christians were raiding a church and calling them “cult houses,” while promoting their own religion(and posting it as a "challenge" on TikTok), many "Christians" would be outraged and it would quickly turn into a culture-war issue as an attack on Christianity.

Yeah, Scientology is a cult, however I find it ironic that people don’t seem to think their own religion is the one that isn’t a ‘cult,’ and therefore feel justified in supporting raids against them.

It feels too on the nose.

Do some Americans really head to the voting booth with the thought of inflicting pain onto what you perceive as your political opponents? Do you really just do it to "trigger" or make the opponent seethe, even at the expense of yourself?

For people who do vote solely to inflict pain on their "enemies," are you fine with also inflicting pain on people who are not your "enemies"? This seems like a form of team kill.

Is this a humiliation ritual, where you pretend you are happy with things like gas prices just to get people mad? Is this a humiliation ritual?
