This is my first real leather jacket so my knowledge is very limited. I recently picked up this Schott Bros “IS674MS” not sure what jacket it would be exactly but I am assuming some sort of flight jacket? I love the distressed look but I am wondering if there is a way to prevent the elbow/forearm area of the sleeves to wear less. When I got it they had a flaky rubbery feel, managed to get it off with a microfiber cloth, but now wondering if I should be adding conditioner like I have seen in other posts. Any help is greatly appreciated and sorry for the terrible pictures. Dark day so I had to use the overhead lights.
