Hi everyone,

I’m applying for a J-1 visa from India for a summer research internship in the US. I’ve already completed my DS-160 and I’m now at the payment stage.

From what I understand, the mandatory fees are:

* SEVIS I-901 fee — $220

* MRV visa application fee — $185

I just wanted to confirm — are there any other mandatory fees I should be aware of before the interview (or during the process)?

I’ve seen some mentions online about additional fees (like visa integrity fee, I-94, etc.), but it’s a bit unclear what actually applies right now.

Would really appreciate if someone who has recently gone through the J-1 process (especially from India) could clarify.
