Is it okay to put the fire out with water if I don’t have a lid?

I’m renovating, but not redoing warm water or electric. I’m looking for the best bidet with the following:

-not warm/hot
-not electric
Adjustable
Self cleaning
Reliable

Really I’m just wanting something good quality that’s not aesthetically ugly. It’s a guest bathroom.
