Wallet imports wrong address — need help recovering locked HNT

My Helium wallet was compromised. I have locked HNT from right after the migration to Solana and need to move them before the other party does.

When I import my 12‑word seed into the Helium Wallet app, it generates a completely different address — a Solana‑derived one starting with “8p…” — instead of my original Helium‑chain address that starts with “E2…”. Because of that, I can’t see my locked HNT.

I tried the CLI method in Ubuntu using helium-wallet-rs, but the export command only prints the seed phrase and does not generate a password‑secured QR code for the CLI import screen.

I suspect the app is only scanning the Solana derivation path (m/44'/501'/0'/0') and not the legacy Helium path (m/44'/904'/0'/0') that my original wallet used.

Does anyone know how to force the Helium Wallet app to import using the legacy Helium derivation path so I can recover the correct address and access my locked HNT?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time.
