Something impossibly huge
This is going to sound vague because it is. I first had this dream maybe twelve years ago and I still get it from time to time, maybe once every couple of months. It throws me off a bit for a day or two when it comes back.
I'm near something. Possibly in it, I don't know. There's no ground or space, no up or down. I'm just there and this presence is with me and it's enormous. Not enormous like a building or evevn a mountain but bigger than that. Bigger than anything. JUst utterly vast. I feel literally awe-struck by its size and how tiny I feel in comparison. I don't really have the words for it.
It's not scary, really. I guess in real life if I was near something so huge it would be terrifying, and there is a feeling that I could just be crushed out of existence instantly, but that's not what it's about. It's just there and so am I. And that's the whole dream. It feels like I'm there for a long time.
When I wake up there's this feeling like I've been shown something deliberately. Not a message or anything obvious like that. More like someone opened a door and let me look through it and then closed it again. And then it's gone. I can't get back to it.
Does anyone else get anything like this? Not the specific thing but that sense of being near something that's operating on a scale you can't process? I've never really talked about it to anyone because what is there to say.
