Seeking advice: How to handle large wedding decor and equipment after a destination wedding?

Hi everyone. I’m a 2026 bride having my wedding on Maui. The island does not give brides many options for wedding rentals, and the cost is expensive (for me). therefore I’m shipping some items to the island for my wedding to save money.

For example, I want a round stage for my wedding. the stage rental fee is $2200 on Maui, but purchasing and shipping the stage would only cost $1000.

My question is: how should I handle these items after the wedding? I’ve started posting them for resale in Maui bride Facebook groups, but I haven't received any responses yet. I would appreciate any suggestions or experiences from fellow brides on how to deal with wedding items like these!

✨ Pass the Beauty Along: Custom Hand-Designed Pastel Floral Arrangements (pre-selling, available after July) ✨

Hi fellow brides! 🌸

I’m a July 2026 bride getting married in Maui, and after realizing how expensive wedding florals can be on the island, I decided to design and create my own dream arrangements instead.

After over two months of sketching, refining, sourcing, and hand-crafting every piece, I’ve finally finished the collection and would love to pass these beautiful high-end artificial florals on to another bride after my wedding.

These arrangements were created with a soft, dreamy pastel aesthetic in mind, and every detail was thoughtfully designed by hand.

✨ Details:
• Premium Quality — Made with some of the highest-grade silk flowers available for an incredibly realistic look and feel.
• Floral Mix — Includes Lina Hydrangeas, Korean Hydrangeas, Summer Delphiniums, Roses, Persian Buttercups (Ranunculus), Daisies, and more.
• Close-Up Photos Available — I have detailed photos of each flower variety if you’d like to see them!
• Size — Approximately 1.1m (H) × 1m (L) × 0.7m (W) per piece.
• Versatile Use — Beautiful for weddings, but also elegant enough to repurpose as home décor afterward.

✨ Layout Inspiration:
• 5 pieces to semi-surround a 2m circular stage (see the second picture)
• 8 pieces for an aisle setup (4 on each side)
• 1 piece for a bar table
They also look stunning beside a welcome sign, sweetheart table, or guest tables!

📍 Pickup Availability:
• Maui — Available after 7/19/26
• Honolulu — Available after 7/24/26
(Shipping elsewhere can also be arranged at buyer’s expense.)

💰 Pricing:
• Single Piece — $180
• 5 Pieces set for the stage— $800
• Full Set (14 pieces) — $2,000 bundle price

This pricing is simply to help recover a portion of the material costs and hopefully help another bride create a beautiful wedding without the enormous floral expense 🌸

I truly poured my heart into these pieces, and I hope they can bring as much joy to someone else’s wedding planing as they did to mine. Please DM me if interested or if you’d like additional photos and videos! ✨
