Crayon Melting

I’ve been trying to melt these crayons for a while now and I can’t seem to get the C’s, G’s, or U’s out of the mold without them cracking and I really need a C. I’ve been trying to modify the O’s and Q’s by cutting them but they just keep snapping. Any suggestions for how to get them out?

I’m almost finished watching The Apothecary Diaries and it’s the first anime I’ve ever actually watched (yes, I’ve seen clips of Pokémon but I never actually got into it) and I’m looking for something like it to watch/read next. (I’ve never read backwards before but I’ll try!) Also, semi-related question, where do I pick up after finishing the show on Netflix or is that the end?

(If it helps):

What I like about the anime:

  1. Maomao (especially her poison special interest). That’s like the main reason I watch the show. If you’ve seen it you’ll understand.
  2. The political intrigue.
  3. The clear translations (at least on the Netflix show).

What I don’t like but tolerated cause the show is THAT GOOD:

  1. Jinshi.
    (That’s the end of this list. I just really don’t like him.)
