I’m about to buy my first pair of Adidas Sambas, but I’m totally stuck on the sizing. I’ve watched so many videos, some say "size up" and others say "size down," and it’s very confusing!

Here is my info:

• My actual foot length: 24.5 cm.

• My usual size: I usually wear EU 39 (25 cm) in Nike and Puma because I prefer having a bit of extra room (half a size up).

• The Adidas Chart: I noticed that in the Adidas size chart, the EU 39 1/3 is only 24.2 cm (which seems too small), while EU 40 2/3 is 25 cm.

I’m afraid that if I go for the 40 2/3 (25 cm), they might end up looking too big or bulky on my feet. But I’m also worried that 40 (24.6 cm) or 39 1/3 might be too tight since Sambas are known to be narrow.

Which size should I get?
