Planning on quitting my tn job soon. Is there any advice on if I should acquire any proof of my last day such as paycheques and / or any termination documents with my last day on them?

I’m applying for a new tn a week after I come back to Canada from my old job, so I wonder if they’ll ask whether I quit my last one and show proof of when so that I didn’t violate my grace period? Is this something people actually worry about or am I being paranoid?
