Hi! I’m looking for someone to sublet my room on Gainsborough St. from May 15th through August 31. The start date is flexible and can begin June 1st too!
The basics:
* Primary bedroom in a 2 bed / 1 bath apartment
* $1,950/month, but the price is very negotiable
* No sublet fee
* Electric + WiFi not included and usually around $150/month total in summer
* Room comes with a bed + bed frame, and a desk and chair if needed
* Other furniture in the photos may be removed before move-in, unless you’d like to buy any of it!
* Cats allowed with no fee
* Would prefer a female subletter, but it’s not a dealbreaker
About the room:
* It’s huge
* Exposed brick
* Huge walk-in closet with extra storage space
* Separate alcove that’s perfect for a desk/work from home setup
Apartment/building features:
* Central AC
* In-unit laundry
* Dishwasher
* Large private patio
* 24/7 security
* Elevator/intercom
* Mailroom/package room
Roommate situation:
* Only 1 roommate
* Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the unit, so there are no shared walls
* She is a female recent grad
* She’ll be gone from May through mid-June, then back briefly for about a week to move out
* She may end up subletting her room for July-August, but nothing is finalized yet
Location:
* 5 to 10 minute walk from Northeastern and Berklee
* 5 to 10 minute walk to the Orange Line and Green Line
* Close to Fenway
* Really cute street and pretty quiet, especially in the summer
Building management/ Sublet Requirements:
* subletter must be approved by management
* application required, and students will likely need a cosigner
* if approved, management typically requires first month, last month, and security deposit before move-in
