I've read many posts and opinions about MK8 GTE, however I would like to ask some that I haven't found info about as I plan to buy it in next 2-3 months:
- Does MK8 GTE suffers from infotainment issues like original MK8? Should I looks for 3.xxxx software as supposedly this one is more stable?
- Is there possibility of sensors failing and steering wheel replacement is needed as on original MK8?
- What is normal consumption in your case for driving 120-130km/h on highway without electric of course, since my job sometimes includes driving in Germany and Netherlands 80% of the way on highway. Is it around 6L ?
- Is there anything else I would need to pay attention when buying used car (2020-2022)? Anything specific to look for? As here in Germany I see many listings around 19k-22k€ range so I wonder if there is some reason for price difference. (of course all in 50-80k km range)
- Plan is to own care for around 3 years so I would like decent battery performance (40-45km) for office commute and errands. Will battery be sufficient for it next 3 years if car is already at 60k km+ and 5yr old or more)
