So, idk if this post belongs here. If not, please refere me to the proper sub, but I made a custom rechargeable USBC Xbox 360 controller using a battery from a Bluetooth headset and a USBC battery protection board (TP4056) and a shell from a USB controller.

So, when I got all I needed, I ripped the battery pack conector on the motherboard of the controller, cut down the AA battery wire springs, soldered a wire to both the pos and neg terminals on the board directly to the out + and - of the charging interface, then connected the battery to the terminal. Trimmed out some plastic that didn't let me sit down the shell or pinched the battery, cut down some more plastic around the bumpers because they were getting stuck pressed and that's actually it. Full vibration functionality, full fast charging USB C.

Is not fully finished yet, left analogue is having some drift but last time the trigger potentiometer got stuck pressed for excess heat so I don't wanna break it again.

I also want to properly sit the board/battery because is just there rattling around, maybe 3d print something but there's almost no space left so maybe someone can help me with that.

Also, English is not my native language so mannerisms and phrasing is not the best.

Here's some pics I just took. I insolated the board with paper tape so the wiring is not visible.

Edit: added some pics bc the first time they did not upload.
