First time in London & Staying in Bankside . Where should I watch the England matches? ⚽️

Hi everyone!

I’m visiting London for the first time from June 30th to July 10th. I’m incredibly excited to be in the city during the World Cup, and I really want to cheer on the England national team alongside the local fans!

I’ll be based in Bankside and I’m looking for a proper local pub or fan zone nearby to watch England’s Round of 32 and Round of 16 matches.(I believe the England will definitely advance to the Round of 32 ,16) I’m looking for somewhere with a cracking atmosphere and big screens where I can really soak in the energy and support England.

I know Borough Market and Southwark have some famous spots, but I’d love to get some "proper" recommendations from the locals. Also, do I need to book a table in advance for England matches?

Cheers and come on England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

How strict are Wizz Air and easyJet?

I’m planning a trip from Valencia to London (Wizz Air) and then London to Geneva (easyJet). I'm traveling with only a backpack to keep things simple.

My bag is 46cm high, but the limits are 42cm for Wizz Air and 45cm for easyJet. Would this be a problem?

The bag will mostly contain clothes, a wallet, and my passport, so it's not heavy or rigid. I can definitely squish/compress it if needed, but I’m a bit nervous about being asked to pay those hefty gate fees.

Local recommendations for a month-long stay in Valencia? 🇪🇸

Hey guys! I’m going to stay in Valencia for all of July. I’m not looking for the glitz and crowds—I’m here to relax and live like a local. What are some of your favorite "hidden" spots? I’m talking about that one cafe you love, a quiet park, or a view that never gets old. Since info is a bit limited where I’m from, I’d appreciate any insider tips you’re willing to share. Gracias!
