The War of Narratives..

Do you know why Govt. of India has PIB? Why GOI is this active on social media? Why do Indian embassies abroad organize cultural events, conferences, festivals, and diplomatic programs?

Because nations don’t survive only through military or economy. They also survive through image, narrative, culture, and influence.
They do these things to tell people what India stands for, to present our perspective on global matters, to show our culture to the world, and ultimately to increase India’s soft power.

And you know what?
We do the same thing in WarEra..

WarEra is not merely just a game. It is a place where thousands of real people from different countries interact with each other. It becomes a social space, a cultural space, and sometimes even a political space. Through alliances, diplomacy, media, propaganda, and interactions, we indirectly represent our nation and our community.

When we write articles, create media, or promote our culture inside the game, we are doing digital diplomacy in our own way. We are shaping how others perceive us. We are building influence.

Some people think games are only about fighting wars and collecting resources. But modern online games are much bigger than that. Communities form identities. Nations build narratives. Players create reputations.

And honestly, every single event happening in our country matters.
How do we elect our government?
What do Indian players and citizens say online?
How does our court function?

All of these things slowly shape the image of our nation in front of the world.

Diplomacy is not limited to ambassadors or Indian embassies anymore. We all, citizens of the Republic of India, do diplomacy every single day.

By making friends in other countries.
By talking to foreigners online.
By buying and selling things.
By helping people.
By speaking respectfully — or disrespectfully.

Every action affects our country’s reputation, either positively or negatively.
It is up to us how we want others to see us.

And let me tell you a story.
There was a guy from Togo who started using abusive language online. The situation became so bad that even the Foreign Minister of Togo had to publicly clarify that the government of Togo does not take responsibility for his actions.

That’s how powerful online interactions and public image can become in today’s world.

That is why cultural presence matters.
That is why media matters.
That is why narrative matters.

Soft power is not limited to governments anymore. Even online communities can create it. And in WarEra, we are trying to do exactly that.

This is Foreign minister of Togo, commenting on one of his article..
