Update on the Canada goose with the twisted neck
Wanted to post some good news
The goose with the twisted pose I posted a few weeks ago has improved
I could not add new photos to my post so I made this new one
Thank you for all the tips
I gave it vitamins , vitamin e capsules, selenium , brewers yeast for the past few weeks . I also have been feeding it waterfowl pellets
It had a few very tough days - once a flock of wild turkeys surrounded it in a circle - goose in center - one turkey started attacking - I ran outside and chased the turkeys away . It was very weak - but it did fly " home " to wherever it goes that night . Did not return the next day - I was scared - but it did the following day ( 2 weeks ago )
Today it showed up alone - then another flew in and landed next to it . It kind of runs from the other bird - I'm unsure if it's a potential mate or family member ? This bird is bullied by others / so keeps its distance
It was holding its head much straighter for much longer periods ! I noticed the tremble in its neck is not as apparent
It's much better and much stronger
I'm hoping for a full recovery soon
