What is happening to my baby?
New to Reddit and this sub, so please be kind if I'm not following sub rules.
I took my girl Siri out to play with her as I defrosted her dinner, and noticed this odd bump/pouch on her throat(pic 1). This isn't the first time this has happened to her (something like this happened years ago that I took her to the vet for but the symptoms had already disappeared by the time we arrived for her check-up), but this is the first time it's caused her to yawn/stretch her jaws so much(pic 2). The inside of her mouth looked swollen like a balloon, especially the lower part of her jaw. I'm really worried she might have an infection, but she had something like this before and it went away on its own so I don't know if I am overreacting or showing the right amount of concern or???
She managed to eat her mouse after a bit of coaxing, and her face returned to normal (pic 3) but I'm still just a bit freaked out and don't know what to do :(
