Wassup yall, I just wanted to let yall know that goin forward nomore posting your link without a screen record or some type of audio to preview what the music from the link will sound like.

Don’t take it as me being a strict mod and tryna control sh!t, Trust me, it’ll help more people to hear your music bc not everyone will click the link. Most times people just don’t wanna be sent off the platform to hear somethin they might consider “Ass”.

Think about all the times you personally just scrolled past a link bc it might be ”ass” lol…if yall see someone post a link, they might be a new member; please let them know.

So when u post your links, just make sure to add an audio preview.

So I think it’s safe to say the 3rd round winner is… u/Leaque! The votes were close, but Bro came through and took the W! Shout out to all the producers who participated and the members who helped with the voting process.

We got 2 more rounds until the championship round. Let’s keep it goin! I hope this is an inspiration to some, as well as motivation to keep sharpening your skills. I appreciate all the members/musicians who are helping grow this space.

This megathread serves one purpose. Think of it as TheBassmnt’s networking pool. This is the only spot in the community where you have total freedom to self promo your raw links to your beats, tracks, YouTube channels, and portfolios. Any time you drop new music, post the link in this thread.

You can still obviously post your music as a post how we usually do it but still use this thread as a library of all your work.

There’s just one thing that makes this work:

Set your User Flair before you drop your link. (Producer, Artist, Engineer, etc.)

How to set your flair:

If on mobile: Go to the main r/TheBassmnt page, tap the three dots (...) in the top right corner, and hit "Change user flair." Pick yours, hit apply, and you're good to go.

If you’re on a computer: Go to the main r/TheBassmnt page, look at the right sidebar under the community info, and click the little pencil icon next to your username. Select your flair and hit apply.

This is how we keep things organized and turn this thread into a self-service market where you can visually scan the tags and hunt for exactly who you need.

Need beats? Scroll the thread, look for the Producer flairs, and click their links. Need a verse? Hunt for the Artist flairs. Use this thread to your advantage. As long as everyone has their user flair set, I believe this could have huge benefits.

Maaan, Having 2 little ones can get hectic sometimes so we a lil behind schedule but I said round 3 was goin be a lil different and sure enough it was! just as I was about to submit the participants for this round, at the last minute…another challenger showed up!
