Hi all,

I got the email about Canvas being offline / deactivated due to everything going on on May 8th. I assumed that if the platform was deactivated as described that I wouldn't have access.

The next day I opened the program and was able to access everything just fine - so I went about my studies (stupidly) assuming the issue was resolved because I had access. I've gone to check the student hub and saw an alert that they will let students know once it's safe to use again.

Now I'm worried I will get in trouble for using the platform despite not being formally advised we have access again. Should I log out and wait for further updates?
