I’m looking into being a correctional officer in Arizona and I’ve heard mixed answers on if I have a chance or if I don’t. For context yes I’ve posted this question before but never got actual opinions, I had received a class - 6 felony when I was about 11 or 12 years old for possession of marijuana. I have since re gained my gun rights, the felony was “set aside” but I know it still shows on a background check. I was able to pass a background to become a security guard as I currently work within a security company and have been promoted to a CPL, but I don’t know if it would be an auto DQ for any actual LE. Anyone think I have a chance?
