Registering in Ecuador
I’m a registered psychologist from Alberta, Canada, and I’m trying to learn more about the process of becoming authorized to practice psychology in Ecuador.
I’ve been having difficulty understanding some of the registration information because my Spanish is limited. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with:
Whether foreign-trained psychologists need to register in Ecuador if doing telehealth
What organization regulates psychologists there
Whether a Canadian psychology degree/license would be recognized
Any required exams, credential evaluations, visas, or additional training
